John McCain has recently decided that the first day of the RNC is essentiall being canceled--with only the necessary procedures to nominate him being done. All of the speeches (and more importantly to me, all the musical acts) have been canceled because of the recent landfall of Hurricane Gustav.
Even though the hurricane is a tragedy, it's nice to know one good thing did come out of it for the republicans.
For reasons why the canceling of musical acts at the RNC is definitely a boost, check 2 blog posts down or click here: http://unlibertaire.blogspot.com/2008/08/this-just-in-republicans-lack-oomph.html
Let's hope the trend continues for the rest of the convention.
